Unloc helps founders, operators, freelancers and small teams find tools that leverage their time and output — so one person or a small team ships like a bigger one. One free lane, two paid lanes — not interchangeable. We label paid placements so people can tell.
1. Free listings
Approved tools sit under job categories — productivity, marketing, automation, sales, AI, creative work and more — and on Browse tools. Order is quality score and recency — not who paid. Submit for free; we review before anything goes live.
2. Sponsored #1 (pay-what-you-want until beaten)
The homepage board and /leaderboard are a rent-until-beaten auction in USD. Minimum $10. Highest current bid holds #1 until someone pays more. There is no lifetime-total spend ranking and no weekly wipe.
- Every paid row is labelled Sponsored.
- Hover (or tap on mobile) to Beat $X for that spot.
- Click counts show after someone actually leaves through /go.
- Stripe Checkout + webhook create a real board row — no fake seed rows.
3. Category monthly pins ($149/mo)
A second paid product. For selected job categories (creative lanes plus productivity, marketing, automation, sales) you can buy a fixed monthly Sponsored pin at the top of that list — not auction-ranked, and not on the homepage #1 strip.
- Price: $149 USD / month via Stripe Subscription. Cancel anytime.
- Always labelled Sponsored / Paid.
- Empty lists show “Your tool here — sponsor this list”.
What this is not
Paying does not buy hidden editorial favour in free listings. It does not promise traffic. Auction and monthly pin are different products — do not confuse a category pin with Sponsored #1 on the homepage board.
