Unloc is a public tools directory at unloc.tools. You can browse it without an account. This page says what we actually collect.
A normal visit
Reading a category, a tool, or a guide does not ask you to sign in. The public pages do not set a marketing cookie and do not run an advertising tracker. When someone leaves through a listing, we count that click so a board can show a real number. That count is about the listing, not a profile of you.
Submitting a tool
The submit form asks for the tool’s name, URL, category and pitch, plus your name and email so we can review the listing and reply if we need to. Listings stay pending until someone reads them. We use that email for the listing. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a newsletter from it.
Paid placements
Category pins and Claim #1 are paid through Stripe Checkout. Card details stay with Stripe. We keep the placement: which listing, the amount, and the Stripe reference we need to show the row and to sort a dispute. We do not store the card number.
Asking for a change
If a listing is wrong, or you want the name and email from a submission removed, use the contact page. Say which tool and which address. We will update or delete the submission record. A published listing can also be taken down from there.
